Traffic struggles with flood water on the A6017 Ashton Road near Bredbury in Stockport on 20 February 2022. Two severe flood warnings have been issued by the Environment Agency in the area which could pose a 'danger to life'. Both East and West Didsbury have been put under the highest warning level after the River Mersey burst it banks with some residents being told to evacuate their homes.
